Complete Growth Medium
The base medium for this cell line is Eagle's Basal medium with 2 mM L-glutamine , 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate and Earle's BSS. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing
Medium Renewal: 2 to 3 times per week
Cultures are prepared using 0.1% trypsin in calcium and magnesium free phosphate buffered saline. New cultures are seeded at 3 X 10 exp3 viable cells/sq cm.
